Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor. He is the author of more than 310 scientific articles and publications, manuals, has 12 patents, as well as a dozen educational monographs, Hirsch-27 index.

Born on June 1, 1955 in Nakhichevan (Azerbaijan).

Professor of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Disciplines, GOU VO MO GSTU,

President of CJSC Ecolab, a manufacturer of diagnostic kits and medicines.

Member of the editorial board of the journals “Bacteriology” and “Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics”.

Graduated from the Azerbaijan State Medical Institute named after. N. Narimanov in 1978. In 1981, he entered the graduate school of the Research Institute of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor of Epidemiology and Microbiology. N. F. Gamaleya in Moscow. In 1984 he successfully defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic of epidemiology and diagnosis of hepatitis A. I. I. Mechnikov, later transformed into the Antigen enterprise. At this enterprise, he went from a microbiologist to the head of the workshop for the production of enzyme immunoassay test systems.

In 1991, together with like-minded people, he organized his own company, EKOlab, a manufacturer of medicines for the production and sale of diagnostic products. From 1994 to the present, he has been its president.

At present, ECOlab is a large modern industrial enterprise producing about 400 types of products. According to the results of the ratings, Ecolab CJSC entered the top ten largest enterprises in the medical industry.

In 2016, at a meeting of the dissertation council D.208.114.01 at the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, Mardanly S. G. successfully defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic “Epidemiological surveillance of TORCH-group infections based on modern laboratory diagnostic technologies “.

He is a member of the dissertation councils for the defense of doctoral and candidate dissertations of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology in the specialties “Infectious Diseases” and “Epidemiology” and the State Research Center for Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology of Rospotrebnadzor, in the scientific specialties of biotechnology and microbiology.

In 2018, the academic title of Associate Professor in the specialty “Microbiology” was awarded.
